Richard Marek, who has edited and published works by such authors as James Baldwin, Robert Ludlum, Peter Straub, and Thomas Harris, is the author of the novel Works of Genius, which was named one of the ten best books of the year by the Los Angeles Times. Richard passed away in March 2020.
